On the eastern side of the square (the entrance is round the corner on ul. Szczepańska) is the 17th-century Szołaysky House 5 [map] (Kamienica Szołayskich; www.mnk.pl; Tue–Fri 9am–5pm, Sat 10am–6pm, Sun 10am–4pm), showcasing a substantial collection of work by Stanisław Wyspiański (1869–1907), one of Poland’s foremost artists, poets and playwrights.
